Why Bitcoin Just Dropped 30%

Why Bitcoin Just Dropped 30%

Since hitting a record high of over $2700
on Thursday, the digital currency Bitcoin has gone into a sharp correction, losing nearly 30% of its value in just two days, according to numbers from CoinMarketCap. A broad range of cryptocurrencies, including Ethereum, Ripple, Litecoin, Dash, and Monero also declined, in most cases dropping even more steeply. Some analysts have described this as profit-taking, which would suggest the declines will level off. But technical analysts speaking to CNBC say the losses could go as deep as 46.5%, pushing Bitcoin down to $1,470.
A look at history suggests even that might not be the floor. The cryptocurrency rally of the last six months is strongly reminiscent of a Bitcoin bump that unfolded from October to December of 2013 when the price skyrocketed from under $130 to over $1100. That was followed not just by a correction, but by a long, slow decline that had prices pared back to just over $200 within a year, followed by two years of steady, but slow, growth.
It’s unlikely that the same precise pattern will repeat itself, mostly because the ecosystem of startups and services surrounding cryptocurrency is vastly more robust now than it was four years ago. But a vital lesson still holds: cryptocurrency prices are volatile because very few speculators actually understand the technology or its potential, leaving it vulnerable to reactive, emotion-driven swings.
For proof, just look at how closely various cryptocurrency tokens' prices are tracking each other, regardless of their often very different realities on the ground. Bitcoin is the first and most basic form of cryptocurrency, with a lot of adoption and stability, but relatively few features. Ethereum is a robust ‘smart’ system that is already being widely adopted for building complex data-sharing applications. And Ripple is a mostly privately-held solution focused on interbank transfers. Yet the three tokens' charts for the last few months are remarkably similar. That suggests very little close analysis by those buying into cryptocurrency (and likely a lot of purely algorithmic trading).
The fundamental reason for these massive price swings is that the promise of blockchain tech is simultaneously so profound and yet so far from fruition. Even if one accepts the idea that blockchains will someday underly everything from health records to insurance, the road to overhauling those systems will be long and winding. We’ll see many more rallies and retreats along the way.

Some stuff that Bitcoin can and cannot do

Tip of the Week
Some stuff that Bitcoin can and cannot do

Bitcoin is a very clever invention, and is the evolution of money, a global decentralised experiment, that separates the "money supply" from the State, and if you are new to it, it may be quite baffling. Don't worry, you'll soon understand it - Leave the maths to others

  • Bitcoin can only be 'mined' using costly specialised equipment. The process is called SHA256 Mining, and the work is done on ASIC Chips. These are especially created for this task, and to mine on lesser equipment is pointless.
  • Bitcoin cannot be generated in any other way. It can only be produced by mining.
  • Bitcoin cannot Multiply - any site offering to multiply your bitcoin is just a liar and crook.
  • Bitcoin can make interest and generate returns if invested wisely. You can find a few safe places in our Safelist.
  • Bitcoin can be gambled in many online casino's and games.
  • Bitcoin cannot be hacked. There is no flaw in the blockchain and there are no exploits.
  • Bitcoin cannot be 'Double Spent' the first TX (Transaction) to be confirmed by the blockchain is the only one that will be written to the blockchain.
  • Bitcoin cannot be retrieved by the sender. Once sent, you have relinquished ownership, and passed on that ownership. If you want it back, the recipient has to instigate that transaction.
  • Bitcoin cannot ever truly leave the blockchain, and it cannot actually move - you basically change ownership of it.
  • Bitcoin can replace our existing fiat paper money. If we are going to use digital money, let's use one that is not controlled by any despot or incompetent Government. One that cannot be counterfeited, or printed and devalued to the point of worthlessness
  • Bitcoin can change your outlook on life.

How Do I Get Started With iCoinCash?

Your 1st step in getting started with us, is creating a free account. Once you are signed up, you can make your first deposit. All deposits must be made through the Members Area. You can login using the Member Username and Password you chose when you registered your account.

I don't know how to get a Bitcoin account...Where Can I Learn More About It?

We've written a quick guide for those who don't know how to use or fund their Bitcoin wallets. Please click HERE to access the guide.

What Do I Get Paid For Referring Others?

Sponsoring is not a requirement to be paid with our hourly payout plans. However, you'd be CRAZY not to!

You get an instant 10% commission on EVERY deposit made by one of your direct referrals and once you refer someone, you own that referral for life. Typically, when one person joins and makes a deposit, they end up making many more over time. We've seen many people have just 1 or 2 referrals and banking thousands of dollars in commissions doing nothing at all. One referral is worth potentially hundreds of thousands of dollars!

That's not all you get either...

For every referral that one of your direct referrals makes, you get paid 3% on their future deposits as well. That's where it gets really crazy profitable! You've got to at least try to get a couple of referrals in your downline. We've made this process very simple for you with our "Viral Downline Cash Explosion" guide!

Can I Still Make Money From Referring Others To This Program Even If I Don't Deposit?

Absolutely! This is an excellent way of making money by itself! You get paid 10% instant commission on all of your 1st level of referrals deposits for life! You'll also receive an extra 3% commission on the 2nd level if one of your personal referrals refers another person to us! These commissions are for life and many people make a fortune this way alone!

How can I withdraw funds?

Login to your account using your username and password and check the Withdraw section.

How long does it take for my deposit to be added to my account?

Our system automatically processess all deposits via the Bitcoin system. However, your deposit will not be instantly activated. Only after our system receives 3 confirmations from the Blockchain then your deposit will be credited. This can take anywhere from a few seconds to a few hours depending on how busy the Bitcoin Network is.

I have an active deposit but I don't see any earnings yet. Why not?

There are 2 reasons that you may not be seeing any earnings.

Your deposit hasn't been activated for longer than an hour yet.

Earnings are paid once every hour. Please allow an hour from the moment your deposit was confirmed. Once it's been an hour, please check the "Your Earning History" of your account.

Your earnings are too low to show on the account stats page.

For simplicity purposes, the main account stats location will not show any earnings that are less than $0.01. This means it will only show whole numbers. Not $0.0123 or $0.0025. If you want to see detailed stats on your earnings, please visit the "Your Earning History" to see complete stats on your earnings.

For example, if you deposit $1.00, you won't see your earnings on the account stats right away because you are earning less than $0.01 each hour.

How Much Can I Earn with iCoinCash?

Our web services system pays out a total of 2.5% on all deposits each day. This is paid to you each hour at 0.10% every hour. This is how much profit your total deposit will make for you.

What is the Minimum Amount That I Can Withdraw?

Your withdrawal request must be $1.25 or greater.

When Will My Withdrawal Request Be Paid?

Your withdrawal request is paid INSTANTLY as soon as you request it. However, most Bitcoin wallets will have a slight delay as to when it is received. This is because of how the Bitcoin Network must have at least 3 to 5 confirmations before it is considered received.

Why Is My Withdrawal Request Pending?

There are a couple of reasons as to why your withdrawal would be sent to pending status instead of paid instantly....

Your Bitcoin Wallet Address is NOT valid.

You need to make sure that you have the correct Bitcoin Wallet address setup in your account profile. It will look like this: 1HPe5Zc85ehLGYDxTpxcV3QSrpLU9RF521. If it doesn't look like that, it's entirely possible that you have it wrong.

You can update your Wallet Address by visiting "Update Account" inside of your account.

Your withdrawal request has been flagged for security reasons.

Although, this is extremely rare, from time to time our system will flag your withdrawal request for review by our security team. This review normally takes no longer than 72 hours.

You do not need to open a support request for a held up withdrawal. Our team actively monitors pending withdrawals and the request will either be paid or returned to your account.

Marys Investition beträgt also insgesamt 200 Dollar. Kates Investition beträgt also insgesamt 2.000 Dollar.
